| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think SETI is an amazing organization. I think SETI@home is such a great idea. There's so much information that has to be looked over, it's great that someone came up with the idea to send the data out to home computer users.
I run SETI@home because I think it's just really cool. I'm always checking my progress and looking at various things on the website. At times I have tried to have SETI@home running on several different computers, but it doesn't always work out.
I do believe in life outside of our own tiny planet. I am just in awe of how much there is beyond our lives. I don't see how anyone could think that alien life is impossible. There are too many people that have had amazing experiences with the paranormal. Either it has to be true, or the world is full of billions of people who are crazy and just want to play a prank on everyone else. |
