I believe there a great likelihood of intelligent life in outer space. The question is whether intelligent life here on earth recognizes this possibility and has the will to commit the resources to a credible search.
The sheer popularity of Seti@home and universal enthusiasm displayed members and groups running Seti@home should be an indication to organizations, corporations, and the government that this type of investigation should be funded and supported.
