Personal background
I'm 18 and live in the dinky town of Wahpeton, ND. My hobbies are webpage design and amateur radio. I'm currently working toward Cisco CCNA Certification, but for now work in a factory which produces veneer wrapped wood products.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There is no doubt in my mind that ET exists... the universe (for now at least) is much to complex for the human mind to comprehend. The only way to learn is to experiment. Although I find it hard to beleive aliens would have developed radio technology similar to ours, SETI has significantly helped advance science... and who knows, ET could be playin on a walki-talki after all. I decided to take part in SETI@home because I want to make some form of contribution and show my support, but don't quite have the funds to make a monitary donation.

My only fear is that if an Independance Day scene ever takes place, it will be humans several hundred years from now who are invading ET's home.
