Hello, I am a Senior Special Programs Coordinator at Springfield Technical Community College. My connection to the SETI@Home project started simply; I just wanted a screensaver that actually did something productive...not like the old-classic flying toasters! SETI@Home was/is a perfect fit. I am extremely proud of the fact that my Mac systems have contributed over 1.2 million computing hours to the program! Now if I can only get some of my colleagues to join in, we could really put up some numbers!
Suggestions: Do something to make the BOINC interface easier to deal with, easier to get data files, easier to let us do what we did with the old SETI interface...just let it run! |
