Not sure about the existence of extraterrestrial life, but I think we should keep looking. I find it hard to belive that this whole universe exists to merely brighten our night sky and give us something to look at.
I enjoy SETI@home because it gives my server something to do while its underutilized. I also enjoy working my way up the list. I am trying to make it into the top 100,000 then the top 10,000.
I am currently running four concurrent processes on a Unisys Aquanta server. The server has 4 Pentium III 700MHz Xeon processors with 1Gb of RAM and is running Linux 7.1. I have several other PCs in the house hooked up to a TCP/IP network and am contemplating setting them up to run the DOS client. Who knows...
