I am 50 years old and live in northern Idaho with my wife
and 2 dogs and cats. I am half way through my 3rd term as
a member of the city council of our local town. I am retired
after 30 years in retail sporting goods.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
What if millions of years ago humans developed on earth instead of the
dinosaurs. Dinosaurs have been extinct for over 65 million years.
Think how advanced we would be in that amount of time. If there is
extraterrestrial life out there, and I am sure there is, chances are
very good that they would think of us as we think of gold fish.
Why bother trying to communicate with goldfish......
I agree with sending a beacon to transmit a message.
The message should be kept simple like: ........"HEY look over here !!"....
