Profile: Corey Keller

Personal background
Personally, I have nothing to do but stare at my computer screen all day long while playing solitaire, coding new software, and working on my website. Aside from reading various informational texts involving telephones, I do nothing. That will soon change. I will have a job soon, therefore I will be able to fund my "activities" again. A standing ovation is called for.

Hopefully, when extraterrestrials do decide to visit this measely planet, they will come knocking on my door looking for the high tech machinerey I used to process their signals.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
A wonderful attempt at deciphering inter and intragalactic radio noise and attributing it to (possible) alien communication attempts is being made by SETI. I like it. I feel alone enough in this world, so finding somebody new to look at and talk to would be nice.

Yeah, send a beacon. Hell, we've already done that. Voyager plaques and 75s; Viking plaques; things like that. I don't see why an electromagnetic beacon would do any harm. Sure, kick one up. Plug all these worthless television stations together to make a giant transmitting array.
