Profile: Scott King

Personal background
Hello. I am Scott King, living in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, USA. I am 30, and a graduate of Satellite High School, Valencia Community College, and have a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies (with minors in Mathematics and Statistics) from the University of Central Florida.
I have recently started a small ghost hunting group in Brevard County, Florida. If you can see my email address, you can email me for more information on this group. I have also started a small discussion group regarding time travel, esp, etc.
It is amazing, that we can hold the fingerprints of an advanced civilization in our hands, while receiving this radio telescope information. Are we alone? Maybe. I sure hope not. ~Scott
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I feel that in the grand infinity of the universe as we know it, there must be other civilizations capable of detecting or transmitting radio signals. Unfortunately, they might be extinct by the time we receive their signals depending on their distance from us. It would be the most bitter-sweet event of all time, the biggest cosmic joke, an irony that only a god could appreciate, if we discovered what I would term to be radio fossils. Radio signals that outlived their creators. A sad and cruel turn of events.
