Personal background
I'm an 3d designers, working in a little company near Bordeaux, in France, that's why my English is so awful.... My second native langauge is the beep beep one, you know the one spoken by these people, from outer space.... i'm eager to improve my style....!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it?
>> of course it does, but i might not be still there when they'll knock the door....

What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
>> improve my ufo-speakin, but more seriously, discovering them before they do, will mean that our technology is more 'advanced' than their... so don"t worry about The War of the Worlds!!

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
>> sure we must, we must send a signal, just like the one we're looking for (but please don't send CNN stuff, if they receive that broadcast and see what's happening down there, the'll never try to contact us...!)

Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?
>> seti@home is a good way to use my work's cpus (x5), the other employees here are always at the coffee machine, so they don't really care.... The only suggestions to improve this great app would be to make a more detailled/nice looking screen saver, but that's maybe not the point of it...!!

Good Luck to you all..!!

U rule (i'm trying to have a fluent english, but it's too hard), keep that in mind !!
