I am 27-year-old male from Finland and I am a private entrepreneur in transportation business. I don't really have any time for hobbies; most of my time I am working and running my business. Well, if working is counted as hobby then it is the first one, after that maybe computers and internet.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that we are not the only ones in the universe; it is just result of common sense. Only question is that how human will discover the existance of life in galaxies and when. In my opinion it takes time, needs open minded people for SETI and willing to take the possible results from it. I am not saying that there are risks from SETI itself but as in everything people do; we must be prepared for any result.
The reason why I started to run SETI@home is just curiosity for these things. I just have to look up to the sky at night; then I just want some answers from it.
