Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?

Without a doubt somewhere in the universe...Yes.

If so, when and how will humans discover it?

Considering the distances involved and the limitations of our current methods, very unlikely anytime in the near future.

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?

Yes.

If so, what information should we send?

Historical and scientific.

Why do you run SETI@home?
Just in case, something to do, curiosoty.

What are your views about the project?
A great idea. Excellent system/programming.

Any suggestions?
Allow a little more flexability, Larger or smaller data units, a program that allows the user to specifically allocate resource, as in a % of Ram, CPU etc.....
Also a summary at the end of each annalysis, what it found what it didn't, comparisons on past completed data units.
