Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes I do. When we get out there. If they find us first, Independence Day (the movie) is a real possibility. Close Encounters (the movie) is a crock.
2. Sure. Check the Twilight Zone episode-To Serve Man. Do we want to say "Come and get us"?
3. Because I believe it is a valuable contribution to the global community in research and advancement of knowledge and a cool screensaver.
