Personal background
A California gal, I am a Gerontology student working on my B.A. I enjoy working with the elderly and volunteer with the
Area Agency on Aging.

"You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing" . . .

I became interested in the Seti@home program while taking an
astronomy course in college.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There is a good possibility that life exists out there but
we will never know unless we try to find out. There can be many reasons we have not been contacted yet but it is man's
destiny to reach for the stars.

It is important to transmit beacons for others who might
be searching for us as we search for them. Knowledge is power and education is the way to get it. The only way we can use this information is to continue to expand our minds and learn as much about our world and each other as we can. Seti@home is another tool to do so.

Becoming aware of our universe and learning to live
in this world and to keep our generation and future generations surviving, we need to study as much as
we can about outer space, a subject we have barely begun
to scratch the surface of.

Seti@home helps provide knowledge, education, inspiration,
answers, questions, dreams, a quest to expand and evolve.
