Personal background
I am from México City, I am studying at the Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey State of México campus and I am studying Communication Science. I am 21 years old and I have always been interested in outer space, I don't believe very much on UFO stuff, lets say I am kind of skeptical about that, but I am positive that there is extraterrestrial life and that maybe some civilizations have seen us but the might not have the technology needed for visiting us.

I like movies, actually I am the president of the Cinematography association of my University and maybe the "Encounters of the third kind" was part of my introduction to this media. I hope to hear from some of you.

When my brother told to me about this SETI program I inmediately downloaded it and I am so happy to be part of this search. I hope to hear very soon about a big discovery, and I will try to do my best and keep my laptop running all day.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I do think that extraterrestrial life exists. I think that it will pass maybe thousand years before men could have contact with other civilization. I think that there won't be any danger from this encounter or discovery, it won't cause panic cause at that time men would be prepared for that.

2. I do think that man already have sent signals to those E.T. civilizations with all the radio transmissions from the TV and other media. But if we could send a direct message it could be that we are humans, and we are not the best of the universe because of our selfishness, the way we live with a economy based in helping the richest and taking the rights of the poorest and the wars we have had for personal interests and that besides that we would like to change that and have contact waiting for answers and help to make the living of all much better.

3.I run SETI@home because I think that everytime I do it I am doing something important for my world and because this search will make a big change in the way we see ourselves in the future.
