Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Not sure if any extraterrestial life exists at the moment. It probably has in our past and will in our future.
I know there are billions of stars with even more planets, so there was/is/will be a good chance of extraterrestial life.
However, divide that by the billions of years the universe has been in existance.
If each extraterrestial race is only technologically capable for 500 years before it dies out, the odds of there being a 'live' race at the same time of ours is a lot less.
Also, seeing how long the universe has been around, if there had been a successful race spreading through the universe, how come they are not everywhere by now?

Unless , of course, it's us, and WE are on lots of other planets.
