Profile: Philip Ertman

Personal background
Worked as a chemist for GATX and/or Exxon for 10 years. Worked as a digital
electronics technician for Moore for 13 years. Consider myself to be an
amatuer scientist. I like to read about the different projects going on out
there. I read science fiction. I read books about physics and chemistry. I used
to watch Carl on Cosmos. I miss seeing that show or one like it. I am a model
railroader. I use the computer to do research on the internet.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run the software because it is my way of helping. I am hoping to make "contact" become a real thing. I can not believr that all of space is
empty. I can not believe we are alone. I would like to see it proved.
