Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that exraterrestrial life should exist since
it would be very strange if the Earth would be some
"especiall" planet comparing to billion others.
But I believe thet humans will hardly discover
it because it should be hard to RECOGNIZE it, why
should it be in form we read in scientific fiction
about?! May be we will not be able to distinguish it
of "not alive" nature. Who can proove that there is
no extraterrestrial life AT THIS moment AMONG us ?
The water in river, the stone near the road, the
grass in front of our home... Let's remember
"Solaris" written by S. Lem.

But any chance must be taken. So we should try once
and once again to find something to inform somebody
about us. It is just a case when the buisness makes sense
even with awfully small probability for the success...

That's why I run SETI@home
