Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Out of the billions of galaxies and star systems out there it would be simple-minded of us to assume we are the only intelligent life. Maybe just maybe there is something out there to find, maybe they are looking for a sign from us or are already actively searching the galaxy for us too !! Are we ready for FIRST CONTACT ???
I feel it is beneficial to at least know if we might not be alone so we can be prepared as a planet.
