Josef "Uncle Joe" Stalin
Hello, my name is Josef Stalin. My friends call me Uncle Joe, so feel free to do so. I like puppies, kittens, and being the President of the Supreme Soviet of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, also known as the USSR. I'm so excited to be part of the SETI@Home project. It is the progress of the human race that interests me most, well, except for those pesky bourgeois - they are the opressors of the proletariat and deserve to die.
Also, my interests include dividing up nearly-defenseless countries, filling gulags to the brim, starving farmers to death, and of course goose-stepping. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Boy, am I excited about the possibility of life on other planets. It would give me such tremendous opportunities to rule other beings with an iron fist. It truly gives me pleasure to squash out millions of lives with one decision - a simple signature on a piece of paper. We could build the workers' paradise on other planets too, if we ever got to visit them. But it's not easy. You'd be amazed to hear some of the forced laborers in my own country complain about the workers' paradise. Its almost like they don't appreciate being completely subject to the collective will. I mean, come on! Individuals don't have the right to be different or disagreeable.
But, to answer your question... yes! We should send a transmitting beacon into space. It would constantly send out Marx's Communist Manifesto to other worlds, where they could learn and live in a utopia too! |
