Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there ET life is very lucky to exist. But it is very unlikely to be descovered by humans. For the next 100 years I think the best way to descover intelligent life out of earth would be to tack signal from space (SETI or other similar projects). We could also find interesting things on the Jupiters and Saturn satellites but I do not expect us to find life organised in society (bu maybe bacteries or small living organisms). The changes/benefits/dangers of ET life discovery are unpredictable I think. My best hope is to manage to communicate with them exanging pieces of science, technology, religious theories, Phylosophy.... But I'm a bit scared because humans have a bad history in meeting other civilisations....

We should send most of our culture, to allow them to know us, Most of our science to improve theire and our science (especially concerning the univers creation), And we should share with them our questions about meaning of life...

I run SETI because I whant to take any chance (even if it is small) to know more about the Universe and it's meaning.
