| Yes, there are others out there. Extraterrestrial life is what we are to others out there in the universe. The universe is to big to deny any existence of other beings. At the latest, hard core evidence of extraterrestrial life will come to light when we have a complete understanding and knowledge of our own existence. One big benefit of discovery would be gaining greater knowledge of our purpose and potential. I don't believe in any direct dangers of discovery except for not being true to our new knowledge. In other words, having more knowledge increases the amount of responsibility, duty and choice we have. |
