| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think that humanity has been so arrogant over the eons believing we are the best life there is. We have overlooked so much intelligent life here on our own planet, that it is sheer idiocy to believe that there is none among the stars.
We will travel to the stars, and, hopefully through projects such as SETI, we will know we are going to visit the neighbors (or trying to avoid them as the case may be ...).
I run SETI@home on the chance that we can and will find them. Someday. |
