| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think that extraterrestrial life exists. I don't know and I can't imagine WHEN humans will be discover others lifeforms, but I think it will be happen in the next 20 years (I hope). Dangers of contacting? No, I think it is more dangerous for the other lifeform than for humans.
Humans should not send any special information, because we do not know, what kind of informations interesting for other lifeforms. Maybe a little description of our social systems, languages and countries. Languages are important, to make it possible that extraterrestrial life can talk with us.
SETI@home is a very interesting, clever and neccessary project. I run this program to be a little part of the global community, which want to communicate with extraterrestrial life. |
