Personal background
Well, let's see, about me...I was born in Waltham, Massachusetts and grew up in just about all the New England states. I'm now currently living in New Milford Connecticut but my favorite place to be is upstate Vermont. I have two great boys and a wonderful wife of 5 years this year. I've always been rather attracted to space and astronomy as far back as I can remember. I constantly scan the sky at night and my wife was great enough to get me a telescope for my birthday last year. (WOO HOO!) I work as a Network Tech out of Hartford Connecticut now for Fleet bank, It's a nice job and It's pretty flexable. That's about all I can think of for me right now. Sorry for any misspellings.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I most certinaly think that extraterrestrial life exists, however, we won't discover it for some time. In fact it'll probably be them that discovers us first. The benifits of such a discovery could be limitless, perhaps we'd finally, as a planet, relalize that life is not all about us and our petty land disputes that cause countless wars. The only downside I can see is the mass of prejiduce left on our planet and some people's views on these people from another world.
