I found out about SETI from a former partner of mine. Still hoping to be the one to share in finding the signal from an extraterrestrial intelligence life form.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I run SETI@home with the desire to be one of the persons who assisted with the discovery of extraterrestrial life. I know the algorithms were changed to weed out altered data received but a little faster one would be greatly appreciated.

3. I think we should be transmitting a beacon for others to receive. This may speed up first contact with another life form. As for the message, we should keep it quite simple and to the point without releasing all our strengths and weaknesses.
