I live in the farm country of the Midwest so I should be one of the first to see ET when it arrives. Doesn't ET always land on Clarence's farm?
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do I believe in extraterrestrial life? Sure. Do I believe we will recognize it when we find it? Probably not. When was the last time we pondered the civilizations thriving on the soles of our shoes?
I like the SETI@home program for one main reason. It gives the average person the opportunity to get involved in a scientific undertaking that helps promote a better understanding of our own existence.
