Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that, if extraterrestrial life exists, those guys must be very intelligent, because they never came to our planet!!! :) No, seriously, i think that there's a lot of Space out there, and, being so,there sould be life in other planets. I do not mean "Litle Green Men", but there may be some other life forms, with other aspect, other metabolism, other ways to communicate and reproduce. I just don't like sci-fi movies and tv shows because they allways give their other life forms a humanoid look. That is very unlikely to be true, in my opinion.

The ideia of transmitting something into Space is good, but in wich language should it be done? All? One? Some? And the info? Chemical description of the current Earth condition? Air composition, Water composition? The Table on Known Chemical Elements? I don't know, but it would be a good idea to let others like us know there's something alive down here.

Curiosity, the amazement of distribuited computing, the will to contribuite... I guess that's it.
