Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't think we are alone in the universe. The Bible says that God created
man. If this is the case, why would He just create man on this planet?

As far as when and how man will discover life on other planets... We must first
figure out how to work together in peace. What life on another planet would want
to come to this planet where we fight amoungst ourselves and feel that one
person is better that the other just because they are different?

The benefits of discovering life elswhere is that we could learn so much from
them. The danger is that we might not want to learn what they teach us.

I don't think we need to transmit a beacon. If life on other planets haven't
found us, they will. If they have, they will let us know when they are ready
and when they think we are ready.

I run Seti just because it would be interesting to be the one that got lucky
and found a trace of life on another planet.
