Hi
I am 16 years old and still going to school. I like to work with my computer so it is often on. After turning on my computer Seti starts because I want to support the scientists.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I hope extraterrestrial life exists 'cause it would be a huge waste of space if we are the only living beings. I think it is possible that we'll discover them because of the SETI program. We sent radiowaves with information out in space so they could answer. Benifits could be new technology or just another species to talk to, but they malso might be hostile and fight against us.
2. We did it what time sending infos about our outer apperiance, our DNA and our position. I think it would be good if we optimize and modernize this beacon to send it again.
3. I run it because I love the sciences and all of them fascinate me but the search for extraterrestrial life gripped me and does not let me go. It is a way to support these guys to hopefully find something and that's why I am doing this.
