I am a local politician in San Diego, California looking to advance science, diplomacy, and education. SETI@HOME is a wonderful program that promotes all three.
I strongly support education (in particular science) and beleive we should bolster funding to schools and universities in California to support research efforts.
I also believe in global diplomacy and international organizations such as the United Nations. While not perfect, the UN is our only hope to improve the quality of life and environment on this planet for all of us.
