I am a 36 year old male. I was born and raised in Chicago, Il. I have been in the Marine Corps, was an over the road truck driver and I am currently an electrician living in Colorado Springs, CO.
My hobbies include science & technology (SCI-FI), history, model making,computers and the internet, travel, as well as home improvement.
My favorite television series are The X-Files and M*A*S*H. I love to watch the History Channel as well.

Yes, I do believe there is life out there other than ours. I dont know when or how we will find it but we will!
The benefits could be enormous such as new technology and medical research that could improve the lives of future generations. The dangers are the same as with past cultures discovering one another: The desire to conquer, rule and wage war.
I think we should send some sort of beacon for others to find with a basic welcome message and the desire to communicate.
I run SETI because you never know who will be the one to make initial contact and I would like to be part of it.
I think the project is very important and the people running it are keeping the minds open of people across the country. |
