I am the System Administrator for a medium sized company of 200 and really enjoy my job because computers are my hobby as well as my work. Seems like I can always learn something new about computers which keeps my mind at work.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes I believe in extraterrestrial life. If we can be on this planet then why not other beings on other planets.
If we ever detect Aliens it will be because they contact us first. I can only see benefits from such contact. The things we could learn and discover about our universe from them would be incredible.
Yes we should send out a beacon and it should contain everything about us good and bad. Let them decide if we are worthy.
I run seti because I want to be part of the greatest discovery humans will ever have. That discovery is knowing we are not alone in this universe.
