I'm a 26 years old guy from Sweden.
I live in a town called Trollhättan.
I work as a NC-operator, manufakturing Engine parts to civil aircraft engines.
My interrests are Computers, technics, family, friends, sci-fi and much more.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I think extraterrestrial life exists, otherwise i would be a great waste of space. It's extremly hard to tell when humanity will find it, but to do it faster then today we need to stop all wars over the planet and concentrate our effort to reach there. The possibles is that we can find other materails to manufakture new stuff and maybe get better technologies to solve our food and disease problems, and to save our environment.
The danger of this discovery can be some diseases that we cannot solve, or that we meat life forms that are not so nice.
2. We shall send a beacon so that others can find us.
Hard to tell what information we should send, Maybe we should send information about what diseases we got, what our status of our environment is(safety first).
To see if i there are any intelligent life forms, and maybe be there when we get contact.
Even if the search for SETI seams to be a long time to wait for answers it's better then not doing anything.
