| I'm a 35 year old lady from Roseville, CA who's been waiting for the aliens to come for 30 years or so. I am an office manager, and enjoy just about everything, from bowling to gardening to No Doubt to skiing, and many other things in between. I'm also a member of Mensa, and I wish that more resources would be allocated for SETI and for the search for NEAs. Meanwhile, a telescope is good for both, and this program helps. |

| I'm not arrogant enough to believe that the only life in the universe is on this planet. I think it's going to be a few more centuries before we discover life on other planets, but I do think it will happen. For possible benefits and dangers of that discovery, go to your local bookstore and randomly pick 5 books from the SciFi section. It makes more sense from my POV to listen than to send, because we'll hear someone else long before they'll hear us. |
