I jumped into SETI@Home as soon as I heard about it back in 1999. If there's one thing I've believed since I was very young is that the cosmos is too big for us to be the only inteligent life around. Put another way I refused to belive the nonsense dogma being foisted on me by certain religious types.
I figure I'll never find life elsewhere on my own with my little telescope so this project seemed like a great idea! |
