I live on the south coast of the UK and have been a member of the Seti@Home project for many years - although I have only just re introduced myself to the updated client now I have a decent computer!
I work for an IT solutions provider in the UK and Ireland www.calyxgroup.co.uk -I guess I should mention them as it their Laptop letting me do this!
I went to one of the original 'Space School' projects back in 1990 that was held in Brunel university. I had the pleasure of meeting Valentina Tereshkova and speoke to her through an interpreter. I also met Patrick Moore, who was a great laugh and suprised us all by being completely normal!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI@home is a great opportunity to get involved in space exploration now that I am a corporate wage slave! I would have loved to be involved in the space industry a bit more - perhaps Virgin Galactic will need access to the internet from space! Perhaps I could help them? Lol...
