Personal background
I am a computer freak. I openly admit it. I am teaching myself how to program... sometimes I wish the aliens would land and help me out! I also build model airplanes. I play a flute, which is odd for a male, I guess, but I am good at it. I also carry around a $5 Honer Bluesband harmonica in my pocket that I am getting better at. My life intrests? Anything, anything odd, or tough to solve at all. If you see me in the forest, I am probably chasing bigfoot like the fool I am. My favriote quote is:

A man's reach should exeed his grasp, or else what is heaven for?

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
To be.... or not to be. What an intresting question.

I decided that Seti@home was for me one night as I returned from feeding my
horses. I looked up in to the spring sky, gazed upon Orion the hunter streach
ing his giant bow, at the big dipper, and the thousands and thousands of stars filling the night sky, and I just had to know. Life exists. To those who are creationists, who belive that earth is alone in the universe, say that our ecosystem is like all the parts of a pocketwatch in a box, and that box being shaken a bit, and the chances of it just falling together on it's own impossible. They only have to stare at the vastness of space to realize there error. Our galaxy is huge, trillions of stars. If that is not enough boxes of parts to be shaken, then how about our negibhoring galaxies, in our galaxy cluster, then our supercluster made of sevral galaxy clusters, then the supercluster. Then pull out your veiw even more, until the night sky looks just like it does on earth, quintillions of small specks of light- exept each one is a super-super-super galaxy cluster. Enough boxes? Enough parts?

Perhaps WE ought to be transmitting a signal, a real, porpusly designed signal to let others know of our presance. It would be easier to dechpher then I love Lucy. And wouldn't it be stupid if we were both listning and nobody was talking?
