I am 54 yrs old and retired military. I currently work as an emergency medical dispatcher for an Ambulance service in Huntsville Alabama. I spend most of my free time on my computer for both fun and work.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I honestly believe that extraterrestrial life exists out there somewhere. I don't think we will make contact in my lifetime. I believe that only our human arrogance supports the theory that we are the only intelligent life in a universe this big. I hope that when we do make contact, that we find out that they are capable of teaching us something that we can use as a race to improve the human condition. I only hope that my small part in this project of transmitting and receiving signal will help make that contact a reality.
