| I am a lover of all things in science. Whether its fact or fiction, it is all exciting and interesting. I am retired from the Air Force with two degrees and a bunch of life experiences. Scuba diving, star watching, and strategy games are my most addictive hobbies-- raising a children is my most pleasant past time. |

Terrestial life must exist because it is necessary. Life outside of our planet sphere would be similar to us for we are the end result of milenia of creation and evolution. Contact will benefit us and dangers will always be a part of life in this universe. We are already sending beacons everyday (TV,SAT,RADIO).
Exploration, Discovery, Expansion, etc. -- its all part of what and who we are as a species. To deny this is absurd but then we are only human. ;-)
