Personal background
I live in W. Tennessee, USA. I am sixty-one, a self employed, grandfather who enjoys all things scientific. I enjoy the outdoors, ie. gardening, long walks in the woods and fields and looking to the skies and clouds by day and the stars above at night. I am extremely interested in space and the prospect of extraterrestrial life. I have followed the space programs from it's beginning and one of my best days was when that "One small step for man" was taken on the moon's surface.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why not believe someone is out there? With all the galaxies and solar systems that exists, it seems arrogant to think we are the only inhabitants. There is plenty of room for all of us. 2. Our natural currosity dictates that we look for our neighbors. Keep sending signals and tell them how we look, what we want and that we want to peacefully co-exist and share technology. 3. I just want to help by being a small part of SETI. I gladly offer my extra comp. time for that purpose. But lets HURRY!! I do so want to see ET.
