| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| If I didn't believe there was an ET out there, why would I be running SETI? Of course there's some other life form in the vast universe, it'd have to be a mighty large waste of space if there wasn't. When we find them and what they have to offer us is the biggest question. Will they be hostile? Will we be hostile? Will everyone just hate everyone and we'll have an intergalatic war on our hands??? Oh no... I'll have to form a resistance... erm... Anyways, it'll be some wild stuff when they are discovered. That makes me wonder, are they looking for us? Maybe there's some alien university running the same kind of search we are. Hmm... Well, the possibilities are endless, and I could go on rambling... but I'll spare all of you. |
