Dear community,
I am originally from Luxembourg, a tiny country between France, Belgium and Germany. Today I live in Cologne for almost 20 years now. I started installing my first SETI Screensaver back in May 1999. My very first computer, a faithful 266 MHz G3 from Apple, did its work 24/7 until it was then replaced by a brand-new MacMini which crunched BOINC-Data light-years faster. Today I run a 3,4 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac. This machine really goes fast, but heats up like Venus' surface. |

| I run SETI and other BOINC projects for these two reasons: I am enamored by the assumption that Earth cant be the only populated planet. And furthermore I simply love the idea of sharing worldwide computer resources through the web. Try to explain this to your 80 years old mother in law... |
