Do i think extraterrestrial life exists....... I don't know but i belive all things are in the realm of posible, so i want to find out
what should we transmit about our race is a difficult question, we should really send information about us as a people, not basic scientific facts or simple math equations, if we're able to transmit radio signals an extraterrestrial culture would realise we have an understanding of such things.
What we should send out is samples of our creative efforts, things like art, music, poetry, novels and our dreams and ideas about the universe and life.
Not send out facts but imagination.
i think seti@home is a very appropriate project, something as important as life on another planet is something that will affect everyone on this planet, so it's only fitting to have as many people as posible helping out |
