Profile: Faris

Personal background
I'm from Malaysia. For those who don't know, it's in South East Asia. Look it up. As of the year 2004, I'm 26 years old. I have a lot of hobbies, but the one I like doing most is reading. BORING... But what the heck. I like it. Applied for the space program last year but didn't get through. I guess there are a lot of guys out there that are better than me. It's ok. I'll try again.

I also love to make new friends. Especially from abroad. I haven't had the chance to visit other countries. I'm really facinated with the european countries like France, Switzerland, Italy, and Germany. I hope one day I can visit those countries.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrials... Wow! That is really something out of this world (literally). All my life it has been my dream to meet one. For generations the thought of another living creature or advanced civilization exists among us. This project is one of the best ways to track them. The human race as a whole must put the effort into high gear, give our utmost devotion, and support this kind of work. Personally, I think they exist. It's just a matter of finding them and pulling them out from hiding. If we do find them, I believe they will be slightly similar to us humans. Maybe not physically nor physologically, but ... Who knows ;)

As for the project, no further suggestions for the time being. Keep up the good work.
