Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run the software because this application of distributed computing intrigues me. Millions of people joined together because they share a common belief. I run the software hoping for an inkling of proof that there is something else out there. That the conditions here on earth may exist elsewhere, for better or for worse. And if they do, it could provide hope that - we will make it.
