Greetings
Am Thirty-One years old, was borin in Hamilton Montana, grew up in Northern Minnesota. Am currently living in Netherlands. Have two wonderful kids ages 11 and 10. Am married to a wonderful dutchman.
When I lived in USA, was a Nurse. In Netherlands am stay at home mom.
Hobbies include, reading, music (listening to ), movies, surfing the web, computer games and such and of course spending lots of time with my family.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Yes, I do think extraterrestrial life exists, I think the discovery of it will be by pure luck though :) Everything is sooo far away. Hopefully with people all around the world helping from their home computers, it will speed things along.
The benefits of knowing there is, maybe the sharing of information for one thing. When you ask the dangers, I really dont perceive any danger in knowing there is life beyond earth. Everyone watches to many sci-fi flicks.
For me, I guess I run SETI@home because I want to know for sure if there is life some where else.
If I can help in anyway, great, I will. I think SETI, is a wonderful project, it lets people like me get involved |
