I’ve certainly gotten caught up in the whole SETI work-unit crunching thing. Distributed computing genuinely interests me, its possibilities are limitless.
My other big time-sink is attempting to help inform the misinformed on the topic of our (The USA’s) constitution, and how important a part the 2nd amendment is to it. (http://www.alphadogweb.com/firearms)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I guess I’m into this more for the cool computer related aspects than the finding ET element. Don’t get me wrong; I believe they are out there. I’m just not very convinced that this current SETI project is going to be the way we find them. (http://www.alphadogweb.com/setifarm.htm)
