Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1 I'd be surprised if it doesn't.

2 Why not? - I think a simple beep, beep should be enough. How are we to know that they are capable of interpreting any info we send. We're looking for a pulse, or a whistle among the white noise. I'd assume the same on the far side. I f they detect us, I'd hope they'd return same. Handshaking can be left til later - detection is the first step.

3 Nice screen display!
Its a good feeling to know you're doing something to contribute. That and help my favourite on-line mag, the Reg climb higher in the ratings!
