Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Does life exist somewhere in the universe outside of our little world that we call Earth??? I don't know nor does anyone else know. But I am certain that this universe is much too big for us to be the only living things in it. Science has shown many times over that life exists on our very own planet in places where it was believed to be completely impossible to exist. Then there is the question that if there is life out there somewhere, will it be intelligent life such as we consider ourselves to be??? If there is life out there somewhere, will we find it before it finds us??? Or will it finds us before we find it??? Will we be ready to deal other life forms if and when we find some signs of life in the universe???

I strongly believe that our in search for extraterrestrial lifeforms, we should be looking at a larger spectrum than just a 1.4 ghz baseline. We may be checking other frequency ranges elsewhere in the world, but this the only frequency range that I have ever seen on my computer since I first started running Seti.
