Of course extra-terrestial life exists! Now, whether or not its an intelligence we will recognize is another matter. The very definition of "Alien" implies that we're going to have a hard time getting a message accross.. or picking one out. Just because something seems logical to us doesn't mean it will to another species, if logic is even listed amongst their definition of intelligent life.
I've been running Seti at home for, well, almost two years now. The chances are slim we will find anything.. but its more the noble idea of finding new life that entices me rather than the event itself. |
